“Holy” Songs

Μεγάλη εβδομάδα κ είπα να μαζέψω μερικά τραγούδια λίγο πιο κοντά σ’ αυτές τις μέρες.
Η πίστη στον καθένα είναι τελείως διαφορετική...εγώ για παράδειγμα πιστεύω στον Αϊ Βασίλη, στον Elvis και στον Tarantino...όμως όπου κ αν πιστεύει ο καθένας ή σε ότι κ αν πιστεύει, αυτά τα τραγούδια έχουν και σου βγάζουν μια μαγεία. Άλλα λίγο πιο εναλλακτικά και άλλα πιο πιστά στο είδος τους.

1. Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen

Ένα τραγούδι που αγαπώ πολύ προσωπικά.

2. Amazing grace - Elvis Presley

Απ’ την λίστα δεν θα μπορούσε να λείπει ο Elvis. Τώρα δεν ξέρω αν «ταιριάζει» περισσότερο στις μέρες των Χριστουγέννων αλλά όπως και να έχει είναι το Amazing Grace.

3. The Prayer - Christina Aguilera & Chris Mann

Έβαλα αυτήν την version αντί της Celine Dion γιατί θεωρώ πως σ’ αυτό το performance η Christina και ο Chris Mann είναι απλά συγκλονιστικοί.

4. My God – Jethro Tull

Ένα ιδιαίτερο και πολύ αγαπημένο τραγούδι.

5. Dear God - Elton john

Λίγο πιο διαφορετικό απ’ τα προηγούμενα ή τα επόμενα απ’ αυτά που έχω διαλέξει.

Τελευταίο άφησα ένα «έργο» απ’ τον Bach.  Σύμφωνα με το wiki: ...Was probably intended for a performance in Easter 1707... Απλά καθηλωτικό.
